Impact Hub Boston is home to a mixed community of innovators, changemakers, entrepreneurs, non-profits, creatives, and professionals who believe that making the world a better place is important to them personally – and for many of them, it’s central to the work they do.
We are a community, first and foremost. When the Internet goes down (once in 3 years — cable cut in the street, and we’ve implemented a fix for that now), our members don’t flee. They look up from their laptops and start talking with their neighbors or go play a game or do something with someone else. Because you don’t have to let a little Internet outage prevent you from having a good — and productive — day. If you want to work alongside people who you can come to know, and who will come to know you and be able to cheer you on and chime in when it’s helpful, this is a great community to be part of.
We are housed inside the CIC Boston facility (http://boston.cic.us) so our members have access to all the great resources of CIC Boston, including
– dozens of conference rooms and phonebooths,
– super high speed Internet (100M),
– high speed copiers/printers/scanners (color & bw),
– kitchens on every floor, equipped with great beverages and snacks,
– multiple event spaces,
– gym and maker space available for modest extra charge,
– access to Impact Hub locations and CIC locations around the world,
– and much, much more!
