We are a community built by and for creative freelancers and small teams who learn from each other, work hard and have fun.
Our light-filled, two-level space has shared workspace and is also great for meeting clients, accessing tools, books or expertise, and learning new skills. Makeshift exists to make life easier for those who run their own business.
Members share 4,000 square feet in a former pencil factory where they can make, learn, teach, and think. The clubhouse is located in Williamsburg, around the corner from incredible food, drink and shopping so that going to work does not feel like a chore.
