The „breidenbach studios“ are a project for interim use of untenanted spaces in the city of Heidelberg. Four young citizens made it to their business to provide space and infrastructure for young creative people and founded the studios in 2011. They are going to proceed till 2015 and watch out for new empty spaces and new projects afterwards.
Nine ateliers, workshops, co-working spaces and a band room were created In the former industrial facility in the Hebelstraße 18. Creative people of all sectors come together here to work, get inspired, talk about projects, culture, design and politics. They realize synergies and fertilize the economy and society of their town.
Once per month the breidenbach studios open their doors to the public. Then the “collaborateurs” present their products, do art exhibitions, celebrate and become a creative melting pot.
